  • Hiking the GR34 coastal path: The GR34 trail, also known as the "Customs Officers' Trail," runs along the Breton coast and offers spectacular scenery. You can hike part of this trail in Plouguerneau and enjoy views of the sea and cliffs.

 

  • Discover the beaches: The town of Plouguerneau has several magnificent beaches, including Saint-Cava Beach, Meneham Beach, and Grève Blanche Beach. You can enjoy the fine sand, swim, walk along the coast, or practice water sports such as surfing, wing foiling , kitesurfing, windsurfing, or kayaking.

 

  • Visit the Île Vierge Lighthouse: The Île Vierge Lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse in Europe. You can take a boat from the port of Aber-Wrac'h to reach the island and visit this magnificent lighthouse. Climbing the 365 steps offers exceptional panoramic views of the coast.

 

  • Explore the village of Meneham: Located near Plouguerneau, the village of Meneham is a historic site where you can discover traditional stone houses and an authentic atmosphere. You can also walk along the GR34 coastal path, which offers superb sea views.

 

  • Take a boat trip: You can rent a boat or join a boat trip from the port of Aber-Wrac'h to explore the Plouguerneau coast and admire the seascapes. You might even spot dolphins or other marine life.
